Felt is a textile material that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together. Felt can be made of natural fibers such as wool or animal fur, or from synthetic fibers such as petroleumbased acrylic or acrylonitrile or wood pulpbased rayon.Blended fibers are also common. Felt has special properties that allow it to be used for a wide variety of purposes.
You can also free motion stitch on top of the piece if you are experienced at that. OK, then you go to the sink and dissolve the stabilizer in hot water. It takes about 1 minute. Allow the fabric to dry and there you are!
